Check-In Procedure

Please: DO NOT SHOW UP AT THE HOUSE PRIOR TO CHECKING IN AT OUR OFFICE UNLESS INSTRUCTED TO DO SO. READ THE FOLLOWING FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO CHECK-IN

There will be no in-person check-in available after 5 p.m. If you plan to arrive after 5 p.m. please check with the office for LATE ARRIVAL PROCEDURES.

Please plan accordingly. If you can not arrive before 5 p.m. please make your reservation for the following day or check with us for the late check-in procedure. We will need to have a picture of your Driver's License AND the front and back of your Credit Card on file. We need to verify your identity for your protection and ours BEFORE you will be allowed possession of the property.

Please read this so you know what to expect on the day of your arrival. If you are unsure about how to get here, please CLICK HERE and enter your "FROM" location for complete driving directions to our office in Sunrise Beach, MO. Check-in is normally at or after 4 P.M. unless otherwise pre-arranged. Please notify us well in advance if you plan to be here later than 5 P.M. Please call 573-374-1000 when you arrive in Sunrise Beach. This is our office number and does NOT text. We will arrange to meet you at our office. From there, we will explain everything you need to know about the property and give you the keys and directions to where you will be staying. Please have your driver's license and the credit card that you used for your reservation with you and ready for verification. There will be a security deposit put on your card before you take possession of the house. If using a DEBIT card, please make sure you have enough funds to cover this.

After that, We will be happy to answer any questions you may have so you can start your vacation.  

Things you need to bring with you...

You should bring your food / spices, any unusual cooking implements not considered ordinary, coffee, clothes, favorite beverage, beach towels, paper towels, paper plates, flotation if you plan to swim in the lake, shower soap, shampoo and charcoal for the grill if you plan to BBQ. We provide starter sets of toilet paper (normally 2 rolls per bathroom) and starter trash bags. Starter Dawn and / or dish washing detergent. Any additional supplies you may need during your stay will be your responsibility. Some houses provide gas grills (Propane is to be refilled on an HONOR System. If you run out of propane, you are on your HONOR to go and refill the bottle. If the bottle is empty and you wish to gas grill, please feel free to go and exchange the bottle at any gas station or Dollar General or Ace Hardware AT YOUR EXPENSE.  Please check the AMENITIES of the property you will be at so you will know in advance what to expect.

Check out Procedure

Check out is normally at or before 10 a.m. on the date of your departure. If you plan to leave earlier than 10 a.m.; please let us know so we can make other arrangements. Please have all dishes, pots & pans etc. cleaned and put back where they were when you arrived including everything in the dishwasher (you are NOT ALLOWED to leave dishes clean or dirty in the dishwasher). You will be charged additional cleaning fees if you do not follow these procedures. Please have all trash in bags and outside in the receptacle provided at the property. Please put all used towels in the bath tub so they are not dripping on the floor. You do NOT need to strip any beds or start laundry. Additional house keeping charges may be assessed and charged to your credit card if the property is left extremely untidy at a rate of $45 per hour. If you feel the need to re-arrange the furniture during your stay and leave it that way, you will be charged a MINIMUM of $25 or more depending on how much work it takes to put the house back as it was before your arrival.

Please make arrangements to have BOTH sets of keys (if applicable) back in our office no later than 10:30 a.m. There will be a $65 re-key fee if you lose EITHER of the keys you are provided during check-in. Additional rental fees will be charged to your credit card on a Pro-rata basis chargeable at $45 per half hour if you delay check out. Our House Keepers are on a schedule and are being paid by the hour whether they are waiting for you to leave or working. They will call us if you are still at the house when they show up. We can not be responsible for lost or left behind articles. If found, we will make every attempt to mail them to you at your expense.
